Quantum Qi
Longevity Therapy Pod
Industrial Design UX-UI Software Solution AI-integration
Quantum Qi is an integrated therapeutic system for wellness and longevity, consolidating multiple diagnostic, activation, and visualization processes into a single coordinated environment. The project focuses on system integration, bringing together spatial design, interface logic, and embedded technologies into one coherent operational framework.
WHY?
Wellness and longevity technologies are typically developed and experienced as isolated tools, resulting in fragmented workflows, inconsistent experiences, and limited system-level coherence. Quantum Qi was developed to explore how these processes can be structurally integrated, technically, spatially, and experientially, within a single controlled system.
WHAT?
Quantum Qi is a compact, multi-modal therapeutic platform designed to support assessment and intervention within a single session. The system combines physical components, digital interfaces, and embedded technologies into one controlled environment, enabling coordinated operation informed by live system data.
HOW?
The project combines industrial design, spatial design, UX/UI design, and frontend development. The system leverages connected devices (IoT), real-time data streams, and algorithmic processing to support synchronized operation and feedback. Design decisions focus on legibility, coordination, and system reliability, while deliberately abstracting internal technical complexity.
WHERE?
Quantum Qi was conceived and developed in the United Arab Emirates. Fabrication and prototyping were undertaken across the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The invention has been filed for patent protection and is currently patent pending in the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
WHEN?
The project was developed through iterative phases, from system design and prototyping to controlled public presentation. Quantum Qi has been exhibited at Museum of the Future and the Zenos Wellness Summit, and continues to evolve through ongoing refinement and validation.
WITH?
Developed in close collaboration between IBDÅ and the Longevity Wellness Hub team, with contributions from students and alumni of the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI), developed and prototyped at IBDÅ’s lab at in5 Design, and robotic fabrication carried out in collaboration with Styro3D.
