INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
INTERNSHIP POSITION

  • As a Product & Industrial Design Intern, you will assist in concept development, prototyping, and design iteration for both physical and hybrid products. From brainstorming sessions to 3D modeling, you’ll have the chance to see how ideas evolve into tangible prototypes.

    • Support concept ideation and sketching sessions

STRATEGIC VISUAL DESIGN
FREELANCE ROLE

  • As a Freelance Strategic Visual Designer, you will work with the Ibdå team on a specific project to shape its visual narrative and communication outputs. You will help transform concepts, frameworks, and project insights into clear visual strategies, presentation decks, and graphic assets that can be shared with partners and stakeholders.

    • Collaborate with the Ibdå team to define the visual direction and narrative for the project.

    • Translate concepts, frameworks, and scenarios into clear visual formats (diagrams, maps, canvases, slides).

    • Design high-quality presentation decks, one-pagers, and communication materials for client or stakeholder use.

    • Create and refine graphic assets (iconography, simple illustration systems, layout templates, social or web visuals if needed).

    • Develop lightweight visual guidelines for the project to ensure consistency across all outputs.

    • Iterate based on feedback and evolving project requirements, while keeping timelines and milestones in mind.

    • Deliver organised, production-ready files and export packages.

    • 2+ years of experience in graphic/visual design (agency, studio, freelance, or equivalent).

    • Strong portfolio showing visual storytelling, brand/identity thinking, and presentation design.

    • Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma.

INTERNSHIP POSITION

  • Ibdå is looking for a Strategic Visual Design Intern to support a dedicated, short-term project. This role blends strategic thinking with strong visual design skills, helping translate ideas and concepts into clear, compelling visual outputs. You will work closely with the Ibdå team to support the project’s visual direction and communication materials from concept to delivery.

    • Support the creation of visual concepts, moodboards, and narrative assets that articulate the project’s direction.

    • Design and produce high-quality visual materials, including layouts, infographics, diagrams, branded assets, animations, and presentation materials.

    • Contribute to building the visual identity and style guidelines for the project and ensure consistency across all outputs.

    • Assist in preparing visually refined presentations and deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.

IoT ENGINEER
ASSOCIATE POSITION

  • As an IoT Engineer Associate, you will lead the design and deployment of connected systems that span hardware, firmware, connectivity, cloud/data pipelines, and user-facing dashboards. You will collaborate closely with designers, data scientists and makers to deliver IoT-enabled products and experiences that push boundaries in smart design and interaction.

    • Architect and implement sensor networks, edge devices and connectivity layers (LoRa, NB-IoT, WiFi, BLE) for prototypes and production systems

    • Develop and optimise firmware, embedded software and middleware for low-power, reliable IoT devices

    • Design and maintain data pipelines, dashboards and analytics for real-time and historical IoT‐data insight

    • Collaborate with UX/UI, industrial design and IoT data teams to translate sensor data and system behaviours into actionable insights and user experiences

    • Support field deployment, remote monitoring, system scaling, security and power/energy management aspects of IoT systems

    • Mentor junior engineers/interns and engage in project planning, estimation and documentation

    • 2-4 years’ experience in IoT, embedded systems, connectivity and cloud/data integration

  • As an IoT Engineer Intern, you will join our innovation team to support the development and deployment of connected hardware-software systems, sensor networks, and data flows. You’ll help bridge the physical and digital worlds, working on real-world IoT use-cases in design, prototyping, and deployment.

    • Assist in designing, building and testing sensor nodes, microcontrollers and edge devices

    • Support integration between hardware, connectivity and cloud or local data streams

    • Help develop firmware or scripts for data acquisition, power management, and device communication

    • Work with the team to visualize sensor / IoT data, monitor system performance, and contribute to iterative improvements
